OIL SERVICES 4 U LIMITED
Celtic Oil based in Borris, County Carlow, Ireland; also has sub offices in Aberdeen U.K. and Stavanger and Bergen in Norway, and representation in Qatar. Celtic Oil has been operating in the offshore/onshore oil & gas industries since 2006. The core business is as built drawings and models of offshore and onshore gas and oil installations which are produced by collecting data with non contact long range laser scanners. This data (a point cloud) is then processed into 3D models and can be reproduced in .pdf format readable with Free Adobe Reader. This makes the information more readily available to the non engineering staff such as HSE at a greatly reduced cost as no software needs to be purchased and minimal training is required to manipulate the image in 3D. It was the need for information to be easily and cost effectively disseminated through ought an organisation that lead to Celtic Oil getting in touch with EOS who produce the .pdf drawings. This cooperation has now led to the market being expanded beyond oil and gas to industries such as the farm machinery sector amongst others.
Celtic Oil has gained extensive knowledge and is owner of know-how, confidential information and other Intellectual Property Rights in respect of inspection services for the oil, gas, processing plant (both onshore and offshore), petrochemical, marine, nuclear, shipping, aerospace, automotive, chemical and energy industries. Celtic Oil has formed a partnership with Norisol of Norway to further increase the penetration of the Non Destructive Testing market.
